September 2026 Update

Good afternoon,

The project team is making progress on right-of-way plans for improvements to the U.S. 63 corridor from U.S. 50 to the Maries River in Osage County. While those plans are not complete for the entire corridor, MoDOT does expect to be able to start the appraisal process for several properties soon. Our team will begin reaching out to those property owners in the coming weeks. It will take several months for the full right-of-way plans to be finalized, for all property owners to be contacted, and for all appraisals to begin.

As the behind-the-scenes work continues with design, geotechnical, environmental, historical preservation, etc. MoDOT anticipates hosting a meeting in early 2027 to share detailed plans and an updated timeline, and answer questions.
